Member Connections

9:30 am - Sunday Worship service
     Our Praise Band leads the opening worship on the second and fourth Sundays
     of each month.  Communion occurs monthly on the 3rd Sunday.

10:45 am - Coffee and Fellowship 11:00 am - Sunday School      Classes for children (ages 2+)      through adult.

Family Support During Worship
Trained volunteers provide all care and supervision of children. Our Child Protection Policy is designed to provide a trusting and compassionate environment for our children to learn about the love of God.

• Crib nursery for newborns - 18 months
• Nursery care for children 12 months - 4 years
• Welcome bags filled with activities for children ages 4-6 to enjoy during the worship service
• Children's bulletins are available for children ages 3 through 12.
• Children's Moment is a weekly feature of special time in the worship emphasizing the theme of the morning in a creative way for children.

Youth Groups
Meet the second and fourth Friday nights from October through May.

• Venture Club: Grades 3-5, 7:00 p.m.
• Junior Youth Fellowship: Grades 6-8, 7:00 p.m.
• Senior Youth Fellowship: Grades 9-12, 7:30 p.m.

Other Activities

Fellowship Meal: Every third Sunday of the month, at noon. At this buffet-style meal, each household brings a dish to share—anything from homemade dishes to bought cookies and ice cream. Annual Blackrock Retreat: Our Fall Weekend Retreat, guaranteed fun, free to all attenders and members Annual Chicken Bar-B-Que: Sizzle in the summer heat and enjoy mouth-watering bar-b-qued chicken Christmas Program and Neighborhood Caroling: just bundle up, walk and sing

Connecting Groups
Several small groups form for a set length of time and then are re-evaluted and re-configured.  Topics include peace and social justice, spiritual reading, ........

Mentoring Relationships
Mentoring relationships are available for persons from junior high through adult, including married couples.
